Addison’s Community Garden officially opened in September of 2010 and quickly became a popular addition to the community.
The Garden, which consists of 42 raised beds, is located on Beltway Road at the southwest corner of the Addison Athletic Club property. Since the grand opening, a storage shed and three rain barrels are among the enchancements.
Participation is open to Town of Addison residents. Charter memberships began in early July of 1010 with volunteers pledging 50 community service hours and a $100 donation.
If you would like to participate in the Addison Community Garden, find more information at the web site of the Addison Arbor Foundation.
