Want to be part of Addison’s George H.W. Bush Elementary School? Thanks to a collaboration between the Town of Addison and the Addison Arbor Foundation, you can celebrate education and environmental sustainability all at once by autographing a single check.
The Arbor Foundation is offering a tree planting campaign urging citizens to “Leaf Your Mark.” With a donation of $500 or more, you can have a tree planted on the school campus, including prominent signage bearing a name of your choice or a memorial. A donation of $300, meanwhile, earns recognition on the Giving Tree at the Addison Conference Centre.
For $25, you can become a named member of the Arbor Foundation, which gratefully accepts donations of any size. The Town and the Foundation have set a goal of $28,000 to fund the project.
