  • Addison Athletic Club Greening Up By Delivering ‘Accolade’ in All-Digital Format

    Share

The Addison Athletic Club (AAC) is doing its part in “going green” by offering residents the opportunity to digitally download Accolade, the quarterly publication of the Addison Recreation Department, at www.addisonathleticclub.com .

Accolade will no longer be printed and mailed to Addison residents, but residents can receive email notifications by signing up at the AAC front desk or registering online at http://www.addisontx.gov/contact/Newsletter/newsletter_signup.asp.  In addition to the AAC’s website, residents also can receive up-to-date information regarding  AAC happenings and news at www.blog-addisontx.info.

This “green” change takes place in time for the Summer Program Registration beginning Monday, May 23rd. Addison residents can enroll  in Fitness, Pacesetter and Kidscence Programs scheduled June – August 2011. Complete course descriptions, fees and schedules are included in Accolade.

AAC programs are available to Addison residents with a membership in good standing to the Addison Athletic Club. Please check www.addisonathleticclub.com to find out about membership requirements and contact the Town of Addison Recreation Department at (972) 450 – 7048 with any questions.

Use a layer of organic mulch around plants to reduce evaporation and save hundreds of gallons of water a year. When you need to add or replace a flower or shrub, choose a low water use plant and save up to 550 gallons of water a year.
