Visitors to the Addison Conference & Theatre Center can’t help but notice a wall filled with shiny gold, silver and bronze leaves (with an acorn or two mixed in), creating their very own unique tree.

It’s the “Giving Tree,” the Addison Arbor Foundation’s way of saluting the organization’s most generous donors. Each of the tree’s elements recognizes a donor’s name or a selected memorial.

These tax deductible contributions help support the work of the Addison Arbor Foundation, a charitable entity that raises funds for public landscape beautification projects around the Town. The Foundation promotes the notion of the value of trees and landscaping in the overall well-being of a community. To support that concept, the Foundation deploys the “urban forest” concept of regularly increasing the number of planted trees.

The Foundation seeks both private and public donations to fund its projects. The top donors are permanently recognized on the “Giving Tree.”
